What To Expect

Sunday Morning

We welcome all to our Sunday morning gathering! We pray you will experience the Lord as our spiritual community gives thanks and glory to God.
Please come as you are (the good, the bad, and the ugly) and participate in the exaltation of our loving Lord. Feel free to lift your hands, stand, kneel, sit, clap or dance as we worship the Lord together. Finally, may you meet a new friend at Mission Valley.  

Our hope is that through our worship service you will be greatly inspired to live the life that Jesus Christ calls us to live. The truths taught and discovered here at Mission Valley are timeless and have the potential to change your life. Our prayer is that you might have a life-defining moment, one that will change your perspective concerning the way you see God, the world, and yourself. Come be a part of our family!

Service Schedule

Opening Worship

  • Our service begins at 10am. We open up with a set of worship that is about 20-30 minutes long, which contains 3 songs. This is used as a time to enter into God’s presence and prepare our hearts for what He has for us in our service.

Announcements

  • Announcements will be given right after worship. This is a time to keep our congregation updated on all the wonderful ministries and events going on at our church.

Offering

  • Offering will be taken at this time. You can give right here on our website if you’d like or in person at the Welcome Center Desk. A song will be followed after the offering time to bless what has been given.

Sermon

  • Our Senior Pastor or a guest speaker will preach and give God’s word to the congregation. It is a time where we as a church learn more about scripture, the true nature of God, and who He is to us and this world. Our teaching time covers various sermon topics that change throughout the years.

Closing/Benediction

  • To end our service we have a closing time of worship to reflect on the sermon and on God’s Word. Following this worship time the speaker closes with a prayer and blessing. This is the benediction.

Connect Cafe

  • Please join us for our connection time with food, snacks, and drinks in the courtyard. Congregants and visitors can connect with each other and fellowship as a family and as the Body of Christ.

Sunday School

We have something for students of all ages.

6 months - 2 years: Our nursery is available so you may attend services without worrying about your little one. If your child is under 6 months or you choose to have your child stay with you during service and they become restless, we offer a cry room located by the back right corner of our Worship Center

Preschool - Grade 5: Kids meet together with other kids their age to experience and learn with hands-on activities, Bible stories and songs. We have awesome leaders that give their time each week to help them have fun learning God's Word.

Youth (Jr. High - High School): Youth will stay in the main service to experience worship through song. They will then be excused to Sunday School. (High School meets the 1st and 3rd Sunday's; Middle School meets on 2nd and 4th Sunday’s). Our youth are the future of the church and we strive to help them build a firm foundation that will prepare them for a bright future.
